Project Areas
We love project ideas that fall into the following categories but we are not limited to this.
* * * * *
The important thing is that a project must address a need in society and bring about a benefit to the communities we live in.
Youth & Community
Addressing specific needs of our society, disadvantaged sectors, those in needs, youth leadership and more.
Education & Skills
Creative programs to teach the underprivileged or impart skills to enable sustainability.
Rehabilitation
Restoring body, mind and spirit and empowering people to be able to move forward.
Aged Care
A specific area of great need in our rapidly ageing society. This area can include care services, follow up, physical and mental improvement programs.
Healthcare
This area can include special needs healthcare, preventative healthcare ideas, healthcare in the home and similar.
Poverty Alleviation
As the income gap continues to widen globally, projects which give the marginalized relief and resources are critical.
Animal Welfare
Animals make for a beautiful world and all creatures are important deserving respect, care and kindness.

Your Idea
Don't be restricted by the other categories you see if you have a project idea that is different but follows the principles of what we look for.

PROJECT RULES
Project selection is based on the following principles:
Project must be in Singapore and client must have legal residence in Singapore.
The journey involves planning, execution, reflection, and adjustments. Resilience is key. It may be a short term (minimum 6 months) or a long-term project.
There is no discrimination by gender, ethnic background, religion, or disability.
There are no specific age limits. What is critical is an outstanding idea that addresses a clear societal gap, a sound plan, and the determination / resilience to reach the goal. Students to mature-age are all welcome.
All potential projects are assessed on a case-by-case basis where the originator must demonstrate thorough knowledge of all aspects of their project.
Areas can include (but not limited to): youth & community, rehabilitation, education & skills, aged-care & healthcare, poverty alleviation, and animal welfare improvement. A project is likely to be small with potential to grow.
The Process
Below is an explanation of the general process that will take place if you choose to submit a potential project.
Project submission is made by the Project Owner to Bloomtime via the submission form on the website.
The potential project undergoes an initial review against the Project Rules and criteria and for viability.
The submitter receives a reply targeted to be less than 10 business days from the date of submission.
If the project is of interest to Bloomtime, the submitter will be contacted by email or mobile and arrangement made to discuss further.
After the initial discussion, if both parties wish to proceed further, a non-disclosure agreement will be entered into by Bloomtime and the Project Owner
The Project Owner will then be required to submit a detailed Project Plan setting out the Objective, Target Area, Desired Impact, Resources Required, Timeline and Milestones (not exhaustive).
Bloomtime will be happy to help the Project Owner think the Project Plan through but it is the responsibility of the Project Owner to research and put the plan together thoroughly.
As a final decision step, the Project Owner will need to present the Proposed Project Plan to the Bloomtime Selection Committee.
If the Project receives final approval, a contract containing the deliverables of each party will be entered into.
Regular project progress meetings will be required and Bloomtime will do as much as it can to help the Project Owner to realize a successful project outcome.
At any point, the decision of whether or not to pursue or approve a Project is solely at the discretion of Bloomtime and it has no obligation to give any explanation or reason on its decision.
All major project decisions along the journey will require the approvals of both the Project Owner and Bloomtime.
The Project Owner at all times is the key driver of their project.
